The pistol slides easily in and out of the ridged polymer holster where it is locked in place both at the trigger guard and at the slide extraction port. The holster is designed in an ergonomic fashion so that the first and second finger lay on the highly textured release buttons to release the pistol from the holster. The cant of the holster allows faster draws from the "action" position or while seated, while at the same time thwarting "unauthorized" withdrawal even if one is familiar with the holster.

A unique feature of this holster is that the pistol can be racked while still safely in the holster. This means the weapon can be carried with or without a round in the chamber. In many places, the carrying of a pistol with a loaded chamber is not authorized. In this case, a simple grasp of the pistol and release buttons, a rapid downward thrust and removal of the pistol brings your now fully loaded weapon to bear. Since the pistol can be racked while in the holster, the holster now becomes a safe spot to load or unload a weapon, greatly reducing the possibility of an accidental discharge. With these features departmental liabilities are reduced, with no loss of functionality or speed of deployment.

Learning to use this holster takes about 5 minutes and proficiency is mastered in about 2 hours. (Agency training can be arranged.)
