IDF Combat Medicine Course

This DVD deals with the down-side of any high-risk job or life style, what to do when when things go terribly wrong.  Basically, how to treat a seriously injured person (shot, stabbed or blown up) in the field until help or medevac arrives.  The material taught is official IDF training doctrine developed by the medical team of the elite Duvdevan unit and used in the training of counter-terror combat soldiers.  Subjects covered include basic first aid kit contents and use, use of trauma bandage, tourniquet, airway device, Hem-Con, improvised Asherman valve, scene management under fire, treatment priorities and steps, combat medical scenarios, and  IV set preparations.  (DVD, 65 minutes)
